Make a Difference Day – October 26, 2013

Our Cities of Service team kicked off this initiative with a free pancake breakfast/Mayor’s forum at Charity Baptist Church and followed up with our Make a Difference Day cleanup effort. Kettering’s annual participation in Make a Difference Day 2013 was a huge success. More than 200 volunteers gave their time and talent to assemble trauma dolls for area hospitals and clean the Indianola neighborhood of yard debris, brush, and overgrown vegetation as our Kettering Cares initiative kicks off. We would like to personally thank all of our volunteer groups and individuals who helped make this day a success.
