Galewood Street Bridge Rehab

Project Description

The proposed work primarily includes replacement of the bridge superstructure and the erosion control protecting the abutments. Additional work includes minor substructure modifications/repairs, as well as related roadway and sidewalk restoration.

Project Update

The project is a federally funded and the City of Kettering along with Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) are seeking Letters of Interest (LOI) from consultants to enter into contract for the design of the bridge. The LOI Announcement will be posted on ODOT’s web page January 27, 2025 with due date of February 20, 2025.

The project will be constructed in 2028.
