Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest

To encourage Kettering residents to reflect on the life and teachings of Dr. King and to promote his dream and legacy for America, the Board of Community Relations is sponsoring a writing contest for Kettering students. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote and delivered many important speeches. He advocated for civil rights, nonviolent protest, and equality for all people. His words were eloquent, powerful, and are still used today to inspire people to work toward creating a better world.
