How do I opt-out from CodeRed?

In addition to our City of Kettering, Ohio – Government Facebook page and @Kettering_OH Twitter posts, the City of Kettering uses a system called Code Red to notify our residents and those who work in Kettering of emergency incidents and critical community alerts.

You may opt-out of receiving all future official City of Kettering public safety and city service related emergency notifications. Please note that removal may take 7-10 business days to take effect.

Please be aware that if you opt out, you will not receive any future notifications including communication about interruptions in service or emergency alerts that are relevant to you.
